Well i was messing around with the trial version (kick ass program) and i have it set up with 2 soundcards (first one is for main and second for head phones). Anyways everything starts out fine but after a little while i start to get serious distortion through the head phones, I tried swapping out sound cards and using my motherboards built in sound card and swapping PCI slots but it does the same thing, I tried EVERY performance setting i could try and its still distorts through the head phones, The ONLY way to get rid of the distortion is to enable safe mode but then the automix will no longer function all that great. I tried every performace setting again with safe mode on but wont run well.
The system i use is my older P4 2.6 with 1gb ram, Geforce 4600, Creative Audigy & Audigy 2 soundcards (they both run off the same driver). I formated the drive with windows XP and installed all updates, There is nothing else installed or running on this system except for winamp and Nero and both of them are shut down. The only driver not at the current version is for my video card.
I really wanna like this program but the distortion would drive me nuts.
Any Ideas?
