This is my 1ooth post.
Funkturnal, I am surprise that you will recommend this guys. They clearly have Promo Only logo on these videos, so what they are selling is not completely legal. I seen other dj put these types of dvd for sale on ebay. Most of them get caught and are banned from selling these type of dvd.

Since this is my 100th post am I am still closely checking out this forum on a daily basis, I decide that I will be making the purchase of this software very soon.

Thats gotta be some kind of record for a non licensed user Angel.
Too bad we don't have a gift or discount for users who contribute that much as non licensed users.

Hope to see you as a fully licensed user soon.

Rick, Rick, Rick. He should send us a gift, for letting him play in our yard. His problem is, he wants to eat, before he buys the software. His priorities are all screwed up.

None of us know his situation.

C'mon Rick. Read my post again. They are all light hearted. Do I have to put LOL, on all my silly post? When I am serious, you do not have to think about it.

Now back on topic. It does say PromoOnly on the DVD. How can that be legal?

It's not my place to reprimand anybody here, I just thought the comments might be taken wrong.
We have lots of non licensed users who are good but just can't afford the program some because of age, some for other reasons.
I just don't want to discourage them thats all, kidding or not.
Non licensed users take a lot of abuse it seems, eventually most of them become full users like us.

Back on topic here, anybody seen these videos?
Are they really watermarked PO?

Hard to believe someone would go to this expense to sell cheap videos.
Ebay is a snap, this is much more of a front it seems.

I have never been nasty to a non licensed user, unless he asked for it. Like, "can someone send me a key, so I can unlock my crack". Again, read my post with a humorous eye, because that is how they were written.

Yes, the demo on the link says PromoOnly.

On the other hand, maybe it is a new PromoOnly company, and everything is legal. We will find out.

You guys are commenting without knowing the history. I have been on this forum for quite some time now. There are many reasons while I haven't purchase this software yet. I currently have a pioneer rig that has 2 dvj x1, edirol v4 video mixer. Pioneer djm 800 and numark vm3 video monitors. One of the reasons I have not purchase the software was because I was not convince that virtual has fixed all its little quirk. Like I have stated in my earlier post, I have no problem investing in virtual dj but I wanted to know that is will be something I can rely on. There are many post with experience users stating that virtual has some issues that need to be address. So I told my self that If I am still monitoring this forum after 100 post that I will make go ahead and purchase a professional copy. I have not been using virtual since my trial has run out. So I am not one of those guys whom is running a illegal copy. So don't be quick to think that because I am a non license user that I am scaming or being cheap. I have previously used other dj softwares in the past such a BPM Studo Pro, VDMX and I just wanted to make sure the next software I purchase will be one that will evolve with us as a dj. The main reason I like virtual because it seem to be the leader in the market when I comes to video. So guys that have smart ass remarks you guys where somewhat out of line. I have also waited this long because I am looking to replace my DVJ rigs with a new computer base rackmountable system that I am having built by a company called DJ Rak. This will replace my current set and will be equip with a dac 3, 7900 video cared 2 gigs of ram, 3t or storage. So now is when I decided to go ahead a purchase a legal copy.
So I will soon be part of this big family legally.
So see you soon

I can see you did not get it, so let me break it down for you. I was trying to say, that you thought it was more important to eat, than buy the software. That you should give up food, and buy the software. Now, how could you possible think that I would be serious? The software is good, but not that good. Now, if you want to take it in another way then I intended, that is on you. I went on to explain, that all of those post were light hearted, but I guess you did not see that. Here it is again [quote=A Man and His Music]C'mon Rick. Read my post again. They are all light hearted. Do I have to put LOL, on all my silly post? So, take it as you like. You can move on, because I will. I have no ill will towards you, because I don't know you. In your first 100 post, have I said anything to offend you? I just waited for 101 to snap?

Welcome to the Pro version family Angel.
I think you will find everyone here is good hearted.

I know a couple of ex DVJ users btw, you're not gonna regret it.
You will probably kick yourself for waiting actually.

Hi Angel S,

Nice to see you as a pro user now.

Just thought I'd metion, in case you hadn't thought of it, you could put those DVJ decks to good use by sticking some timecode cds in them to control the software. :)

back on topic... love how you guys go on a rant off topic... always happens..

I don't a see a video demo of their product to see the promo only logo or tag info.
But this is clearly an illegal storefront for bootleg music video DVD's. I am not going to tell on them ... just shopper beware. I am not sure if I trust putting my money toward a product that may never reach your house because the FED's just raided this guy/girls apartment full of product.

I know there is big demand for other more affordable music video services out there though with the ever growing demand of video mixing. Would be nice if a big company like Promo Only stepped up and made a download-able section of their product and charge per video. I would go and fill in all the gaps in my existing library.
