Sujet: video effects not working

does anyone have an idea bout this one????

when i mix my videos all that happens is they crossfade from one vid to the other. none of the transitions or effects work when i enble them.

what kind of video card do you have?
 
its a nvidea quadro fx 2500 512mb memory
 
Do you have the Hardware Acceleration enabled in your settings?
What happens when you do?
 
i have virtual dj installed on a different partition and it workes fine. do you think if i just re install it it might work.????
 
I think you should have it installed on the same drive as your windows is.
 
sorry i mean i have a dual boot hard drive one for djing and one for everything else. the dj partition is not working and i installed it on the other partition to test it and it works on there but the vdj that is installed on the dj partition does not work
 
Sorry I don't know much about using a dule O/S on partitioned drive.
I don't think I will be able to help.
I usually will only do DJ stuff on a computer I use for DJing and do all my other stuff on a totaly diffrent one. sometimes drivers & other programs, including anti-virous programs can make DJ programs run bad.
 
Just to check, did you go into the video tab of VDJ settings and check that the hardware acceleration button is ticked? I know that the different transitions don't work if that box isn't ticked.

If not, it might be worth re-installing/updating your video card drivers
