Sujet Song cuts out when using EQ on contoller

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

In the middle of a set try to adjust bass, etc the song cuts out for a sec or so then comes right back in. Software problem? Controller? Computer?

Please add your system specs including video card as well as the processes running while you are running VDJ.

Thanks for your concern, hope this is all that you need. I know I have a slow computer but didnt know exactly if that was it or not. I only run VDJ when I am mixing...

sounds like a latency issue to me, are the usb ports running @ max speed? (sometimes configurable in BIOS)
if not- may need a chipset update.
More memory of course will help! :)

There is your problem, add more Ram, at least 512 or 1Gb in total should be nice and not expensive, Ram modules are cheap these days, I know because I sell them :)
Upgrade your ram and Fix your swap file on 1Gb, both same values, start and end.

Yeah that should do it. My HP is over 4 years old, and upgrading the ram to 1gb was the best $130 I ever spent on the machine. Never had a problem since.

Yeah it sure was RAM bought 2 gigs just to be safe/better latency and not cutting out, but wish it was more on point...
Thanks for the help.
