Sujet Timecoded Vinyl issues

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

i used my time coded vinyl recently and on one of my decks during playback the track randomly jumps from one part of the song to another. At first i thought my needles were fucked up but after replacing them i still had the same problem and it wasnt that my needles were jumping off the vinyl.......could someone please help me trouble shoot im using version 4.2

Well the ram is on the low side so that could be one issue, does the waves in the config windows look ok? and do they get 100%? Usually skips and jumps are reading problems either with the pc or with the tcv and maybe old needles. If your TCV are reading 100% constantly then i would look more at the pc for the fix since that would indicate the hardware(tcv) is functioning properly.

Ok Thanks......The vinyl does read at 100% so im pretty sure they are ok. Its just a bit strange since the setup has been working fine for over a year. Anyhow im going to try and isolate the problem by checking one thing out at a time.

Also could be a conflict with something else you could have added to the system, possible IRQ conflict but it sounds at least there is no doubt that it's a pc side issue.
