Sujet Sound coming from faders etc

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

i find that when i use the faders and the volume knobs etc, i get a fairly audible sound coming out of the speakers. This is definetly from virtual djs faders etc.

Anyone else have this problem?

Its sucks too because you can notice it when you record a set and put it on cd.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks.

It is performance issue, try lowering performance tab in settings and untick safemode and overclock and try it.

i´ve got the same problem... though i can´t imagine it´s a performance problem ?!? dualcore 2.8ghz... lol ... i´ll try the slider.

edit: i tried it, the faders are clicking free, but my right deck is skipping !!!! the sound is crazy, the left deck is unaffected...

Than maybe it is a driver issue, try different driver for your sound card or a clean install of VDJ.

I tried to overcome the problem by installing a fresh version of virtual dj but the shuddering sound still exists.

By the way thanks for all the help.

....I cant see it being a driver issue because i have tested both the onboard soundcard in my laptop and i also have the new "conectiv" soundcard interface by M-Audio and i stilll get the same sound on both sound cards.

Any ideas,

Thanks

Try lowering performance tab and enable Safemode.

Hell yeah that worked perfect, by lowering peformances tab you mean put towards "best quality" or "fastest"?

Sound seems to be completely gone now though!

cheers heaps.

To the left to be "Fastest" on performance.

That is because you use Home version and Safemode is only in Pro version 4. You can try demo and see if it is working for you.
