"What about the existing codecs that come with Power DVD and windows, etc. and that are already existing in the computer? Will they overlap and/or conflict with the codecs that come with k-lite megapack?
This really needs to be answered and explained clearly for the benefit of a lot of us, please.?
Thanx for the help from the codec pro's!

Codec packs such as the K-Lite replaces the older and less effective, and missing/needed codecs that comes with, say Windows. In short: they are much better + codec packs are bundled with codecs for many different video and audio formats, that sometimes are not present on a fresh installation of Windows. Older are replaced with newer, obsolete are replaced with better and so on. At most times there are no problems by installing a codec pack, but you should perhaps not install several different codec packs at the same time - K-Lite fits most of the audio and video formats out there.
