i use and reccomend cstoll's xml tool ......i just made some changes in my startup and disabled some processes in msconfig , and now the xml tool launches and does the validation , but it won't launch VDJ ?? error is line o can't find the file ???
i deleted , redownloaded to desktop , unzipped in C:Program files/Virtual dj ...still not working ....it happened once before but i can't remember what cstoll told me at the time ......

Everything must be in the C:\\Program Files\\VirtualDJ folder - if you unzipped with DIRECTORIES then it went in a runVDJ directory. Cut the files from there and paste in the C:\\Program Files\\VirtualDJ folder. Now try again.

i did that ....thanks it did work, and i have a keyboard shortcut to save the db also
i did what you said but it took several tries .... i probably had some kind of hang after i changed my processes and start up ........
