A friend of mine showed me how mixing with vdj was easy etc... He now only swears by it.
The thing is, he cannot answere most of my questions about it, so, ill ask you guys ;)
First question, when cueing and prelistening, is it possible to use the EQ on the prelistening? It seems not.
Also, the bcd has 4 fx controls, you can use the value-buttons of a and b for deck 1 and c and d for deck 2, but button B and C are not used. Did he configure it wrong, or are they never used in VDJ?
The loop function "loop in/end" and "loop out" seems confusing to me and again, he couldnt explain (...) anyway, the loop out is prety clear, but when you pres the loop in, how does he decides how long the loop will be? It seems to be pretty random which , uhm... s*cks
He also talked about time coded vinyls, but only could tell me it was cool and stuff like that, which is very... uninformativ ;) So, can anyone explain how does those work please?
