Sujet: Can't see video in Numark CUE???

I am trying to play Windows Media Audio/Video files in CUE but i'm not having much luck.....


I know it's something to do with Codecs.....I have tried changing the settings in the config menu but still no joy.

.VOB files play fine....just WMV not seem to be working.....

When i fiddle with settings...I occassionally get sound but still no video???

Please help me before I go nuts!!!

Assosiate wmv files in VDJ, with the VirtualDJ video decoder.

Remember that wmv files are made for streaming video, and is NOT good for scratching.

You need a better format for that, such as MPEG, VOB or AVI.

MPEG2/VOB is the recommended format
 

I'm not going to be scratching these vids just playing them.....I've tried to change the settings in the Codecs menu but still nothing....

Is it easier to change the format to .VOB....

How do I do this....what's the best software to use?

ok, try this for WMV files ONLY :

- Assosiate them with Windows Media Player decoder, in VDJ decoder setting

That SHOULD play them
(but not good scratch)


 
still no joy....I've tried everything....still only getting sound but no video?

 
Make sure it's the - Windows MediaPlayer VIDEO decoder - and not the audio decoder
 
tried that....doesn't work?
 
and all these files work in Windows MediaPlayer when you play them outside of CUE?
