Sujet Low Volume from Soundcard

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Okay I use the Motherboard soundcard

Asus motherboard, soundmax 5.1 audio codec and an external mixer.

To get comparable volumes with CDJ's I have to crank the gains in my mixer lines, so I'm controlling voulume with fader only.

I was thinking of getting another soundcard, but not sure what's a good one.

I don't do timecode so I don;t need a 4 in 4 out.

Just a Very Very Very loud 7.1 card.

That's compatable with vista.

PCI slot.

Havn't got one or anything, but I'm sure somebody said that the m-audio delta is a good card with nice loud outputs.

that was just the first link I found on google so you can have a quick look to see if you might like it.

BTW, I use a maya 44, that's fairly loud, but still a touch less than you average DJ CD player.

They don't include important specs on a lot of sound cards. These specs are from your CDJ (1000?) and are the ones you want to match for your sound card to get the closest output. You may have to contact some manufacturers.

Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 115 dB or more (JEITA)

Audio Output: 2.0 V
