Why is the authors cpu usage so high (video recording software?), the waveform looks all slow, but that could be safemode. I don't understand why you have to load a track to get a CBR bitrate, that just makes no sense. The database system identifies files by including filesize and the length of the song is already showing, surely you would get a more accurate bitrate by doing the calculation of filesize / length and calculating any container space. Editting information is a welcome addition and something long overdue, but how about a oneclick get all fields from tag option? Or even select a directory recursively and have this option. Genre browsing is another good feature. The filter scripting reminds be of iTunes a bit, although slightly more involved. Nice work all the same. The hot plug feature is cool. I like the title overlay over the video, how about showing off that fancy album art too ;). The video sampler, very very cool! Really like that.

Yes it must be the recording software that does this, and the waveform is slow because video is in 15 frames/sec

Love it.
It's goin to blow the other DJ software packages out of the water for sure.
Well done VDJ development Team.

Wow man...looks really cool...(",)
Tell me this though...what are the required pc specs for the new version?
The software might well blow those others outta the water, but what sort of hardware will be required to run it.
It does look good...i like the visual aspects it offers. It gives a chance for those of us who don't use video too much to add a bit of spice to our mixes. Improvements in the library look great too.
Can't wait for it's issue!!!
Cheers...and keep spinnin'...(",)

One more question thought, is Numark Cue going to be updated as well ? I currently use Numark CUE LE that came with my total control...it has more features than the VDJ that came with the Hercules controller.
By the way, you guys have the best forum of all other Dj softwares. Great support as well.

I think I just peeed myself. Wow. That is great! Looks like the browser and automix got a serious upgrade. I like the fact that Automix only uses one deck, and that is scans the next song BEFORE is goes on the deck. Sweet. I doubt that I will use the coverflow, but it is something that "those other guys" don't have yet. It will draw people who are new to DJing (Or at least new to using software to DJ with), but used to using a program like Itunes into the fold. Video samples! People have been hollering about that for months! I'm glad to see it finally made it into the final product. Question... Are the shadow dancer clips included? If not no big deal, I'll just rip my DVD and make my own. The video samples are great for me because I create motion video inhouse ad for my club. I can play them at will from VDJ in addition to the DVD that is on repeat. Love it.
