Here's my setup :

Right now i've been trying to get timecodes perfect for a live use but it's getting to be a little ridiculous.
First problem :
The timecode suddenly no longer effects the song. It usually happens when i forget to bring the needle up after a song. Basically I'll play a song, mix in the next, then load a new song on the deck without bringing up the needle at all. VDJ 4.3 let me do this, but after i do this in v5 timecode just doesn't effect the song. is there a way to "reset" time code or something?
Second problem :
I always seem to get 0% Quality... it works fine... but the quality is horrible. I've replaced needles, but I think I need new vinyl or something... I can get Serato Vinyl but does that mean that I need to buy a Serato Unit? (eff that!!) Or do I need to download an update to work with Serato Vinyls?
