Hi guys

Trying to find out what video card to purchase


I have always favoured ATI over Nvidia only because the drivers are much smaller for ATI and less bulky when installed.

But Nvidia seems to have many more Video cards

I really trying to find out what is the best Video card for Virtual DJ 5 to allow perfect Video mixing/ karaoke and to take as much presure off of virtual DJ.

How much memory should the card have 680/720 meg ??

What range 8800 series ???

where is the trade off where the card is more impressive that what virtual DJ requires

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have the ATI X1950 pro and it is a great card, but you can get away with the X1600. I personally like the ATIs better than the Nvidias, but that is just my personal preference.

8800, lol. I use a GEFORCE 5200... works just fine for videos.

I think its time to update that video card thread. None of the 8000 series cards are on there. No Quadro cards on there either.
