I have Virtual DJ and a Sony EVI D70 Camera. I also have a small camera on my laptop. When I Choose camera as a virtual DJ effect I get the small laptop camera taking video. How do I get Virtual DJ to recognize the Sony external camera?

This camera does not have a USB connection.

If you go to the Effects panel - Video Effects - can you select the Camera Plugin then select the camera from the choice buttons on the right?

How do I plug into the laptop? Do I need something to send an svideo signal to the laptop?

That would be a good start - you need some type of ability to capture the video - a capture card or video input if the laptop has a built in capture capability.
