What would be the configuration in the software to use, let's say an CDJ 800, besides just switching the option from Vinyl to CD.

Auto config timecodes and that should be all.

i heard you have to setup "Lead Time" option to "0" (zero)

Right now? No. At my work where my cd players are, yes. I don't have my lead time set to zero, (unless it's set there automatically) you could try it and see what happens.
