Sujet: New site for music/videos..has anybody been here yet?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Has anyone here downloaded any video from this site and played them in VDJ?
I m still working on video on my end here but not familiar with working with downloded videos from such sites and whether or not there is a degraded visual by doing so.The videos are free and the music also.I do realize that they are to be played on your PC or up to two transfereble
devices.
Any comments for advice?
Would the resolution be worth it?

The best resolution is 720x480 bit rate 2500 at least , currently.

If someone here has joined up with this site and has tried out a video with VDJ was it worth using a projector to show?

Nope. its wmv & won't play in vdj. the resolution for the one i dl was 718kbps wmv

Thanks...at first it looked promising.. what shame eh?

Hi, i'm a newbie here, i read some troubles about playing WMV's in VDJ....
Strange... but i can play without any problem. I convert my clips with SUPER http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html
Settings:
Output format: WMV
Output video codec: MS-mpeg4

They play fine ...no trouble

try adjusting the codec in vdj to windows media player

should clear it up.

i download two videos from this site one will play and the other one dont yes they are drm

tried the site, 1) video res in their "high-res" mode is only 418x320 at 1000kbits and looks pretty fuzzy on 20" monitor so it must look really bad on 62" lcd or 12' projectors at the club....2) Don't know what the sound encoding is, but it sounds very muddy....3) Can't get them to play in VDJ (codec) is set to windows media player....4) They are drm and so you can't bring them into vegas or other editing software to try to "enhance" or edit the video or redo the audio from your existing audio files.

Up the resolution to proper 720x480 and get rid of the drm and then you have something because they really have a great selection of videos................so does anybody know of a drm stripper software that can still be had?
