it's not important at all , but , i'm gonna esplain it anyhow ...... the whole running joke about Fred , which is about at least 10 years old now , has to do with me spoofing on myself and my father ......
my dad is totally great and perhaps the only thing more old and old school than me ....... but dad can't get ANYBODY'S name right , at least never on the first try ....... and boy, is it entertaining listening to him make his attempts at anything tricky or weird .......you should hear " La danian Tomlinson" that's a deusy ..... when he says it , i just say , dad please , not around the kids .......( as if he would ever swear , which he wouldn't ) lol
Fred was one of my best friends as a teen and his gf is how i lost my virginity .......i don't think he ever knew , if he did he didn't care ....
anywhoo Fred was one of the nicest people i ever knew ..... back in the day between 1970 and 1980 Fred and i did more 'erb than you can shake a stick at ..... i would have thought his best job would have been product tester for High Times ......he moved out to the country and bought a farm , that sounds like the hippy i know .....but he became a IT networking guru for some mega corp .....definitely doesn't sound like the hippy i knew ... i totally lost track of him after his parents died , unfortunately
so see , Fred is a name of someone very nice and very successful ........ it's not an insult ...... also if dad would just use Fred as a generic , then we would know , he can't remember the name , either that or he can't pronounce it ........
if dad was introduced to the president , he would probably say , nice to meet you John .......

OK Now your behavior makes a lot more sense knowing this Chuck. Don't get me wrong I enjoy it but, knowing your part of Harold and Kumar the pieces of the Chuck puzzle fit together a lot easier..... :-)

uhhhhh .... you lost me @ the Harold and Kumar bit ...... i watch almost no tv , if that's a reference to tv ......at any rate i don't know who they are
i am definitely an old hippy if that's a surprise to any one ...... it's your thing , do what you wanna do ...... don't suck up to the man ......
................................ a little peace and harmony never killed anybody , and although i don't do the drugs that i used to , it won't change the fact that it is hypocritical to malign and outlaw pot , but not alcohol ..........
also to directly address the issue , i am not some kinda loser with his brains blown out from drugs ........ i have always been reasonably successful in music and was a very good drummer at one time ....... i ended up as a dj via a circuitous route
i take the most pride from the fact that my two daughters are doing so well in there lives , and i have never worked a day in cubicleville ........
