usually you see so much bad news on tv , but there has been some real good stuff lately ...... the GM / UAW strike was short , and both sides seem to have gotten some things they really wanted ..... the FDA has been given additional authority and funding to insure new food and drugs are closely scrutinized before and after they hit the market , and some of the fast food restaurants are starting to except some of the humane treatment protocols advocated by P.E.T.A. ..........
