Hi all,
I've been doing alot of weddings lately and I've seen alot of videographers doing there thing. I was shopping in the weekend and I noticed that a professional video camera with all the gadgetry is only around $3k. I was like umm... ok so I did a bit of investigation and found out on average most charge around $800-1600 for a wedding!!! Thats with 1 camera as well.
All the editing is done on programs like sony vegas or adobe which I'm already competent with so now I'm thinkn I must be in the wrong business. In saying that I think its a good mix being a video jockey and a videographer.
Anybody doing this sort of thing at the moment? Got any recommendations on the brands/models I should be looking at?

I own a sony pd150 & a sony vx2000. they work great in low light. the xl2 is also a great camera. bought my cameras for about $1100 on ebay.

What specs do I need to look at when choosing a camera? Minimum recommendations? DVD or HDD?
