Sujet iCDX Scratch Sound Quality

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

So I started looking for alternative ways to use my iCDX's and decided to try setting them up as Timecoded CDs setup with my U46DJ 1.016. A few things I'm trying to figure out is:

1.) How come with the TCCD setup it seems like the sound quality is much more accurate and better? Slow drags on the scratch platter create a very true sounding vinyl sound. With the iCDX's hooked up via USB, slow drags sound like a digital mess. Is there a way to improve the sound to replicate timecoded sound?

2.) I'm having a hard time understanding why latency response is much greater with the timecodes than it is with the iCDX's hooked up directly. One would think that a direct digital signal from device to computer would be quicker to process than interpreting a timecode signal?
