Sujet: PC or Mac for Virtual Dj?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hello,
I just wanted to ask if the Mac verison of VDJ is better (or as good as) the PC version?

I'm going to buy a Mac soon, if you guys don't make me buy another PC :p

So, is the Mac version of VDJ stable..?
Is it anything that don't work with Mac?
I have Herc. MK2 and TCV's... will this work with the Mac version?

I don't like Vista, so if I buy a PC, I'll make someone build a PC for me with XP :)

the V5 update for mac will be much more stable ,

it will support your mk2 yes

:)

which one did you have in mind?

I'm going to buy an iMac not sure if I will choose a 20" or 24" .. .. we'll see... but thanks.

do you know when this update will be released..?

My Macbook Pro runs Windows better than any other PC I have ever used. If you buy a new iMac it will have Bootcamp installed. You can then install Windows on a separate partition and use it strictly for VDJ. Keep your OS X 10.5 side for everything else.

thats smart... but won't it be better to use the Mac version of VDJ..?

and I've heard of a program or something that can run Windows apps on mac.. is that true..?

is Leopard in the stores now ?? i thought it was due soon .......read raves about it ........

its out now :)

10.5 osx lets you install xp or vista onto your mac and at boot you can choose mac osx or windows

this is called bootcamp

however V5 mac comming out very soon is very stable so you may be happy to just use that :)

Sounds good, can't wait.. :)

Yes, definitely.

Soon you'll have the most stable and best full featured digital dj/turntablist/Visual Turntablist software VirtualDJ 5.0/Virtual Vinyl 5.0 combined with the world's most advanced, stable and best full featured Operating System, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

VDJ/VV 5 with Mac 10.5, the best of both worlds without a doubt. ;)
