I want something that will run videos with no problems. I will be using time coded vinyl and am a turntablist so i want to know what will work best. If there are any other turntablist with suggestions i would appreciate it. I found this asus laptop but not sure if it can handle what i want.

From personal experience I’ve been through 3 laptops all with good specs & the outcome was audio no problem video as long as you don’t use a skin that has the 3 little monitors for monitoring the video you are fine .Now I’ve switched to pc & running everything with out any glitches, hope this helps………………

uhhh i'm not quite sure .... if it was XP and you had a gig of system ram , and 512 for the video card i wouldn't hesitate to say get it ..... i do not use Vista on my gig rig or backup ... only know vista a little since i bought a lappy for my daughter ...
i consider 1 gig system ram to be the minimum for any Vista system ..... so i'm thinking even though the video card seems strong , the system ram should be more ......
it'll support up to 4 gig ask about that ..... when you get it home , if that happens when it comes outta the box it is NOT going to be gig ready .......
use the info in the " stickies" at the top of the page to setup , especially the setup guide .... or ask for help .... it is very probable that you will need to make changes in order for the operating system to agree to cooperate with your soundcard and the software .......
