I'm looking to get a couple of tabletop CD decks... I want to stay around the 400.00 / 500.00 ea. mapping as well as space needs to considered. I would like to build a coffin but not needed.

You can't go wrong with the CDJ 800's. I personally wouldn't recommend or purchase anything different as far as tabletop CD decks (except the CDJ 1000's). I recently got a set for a friend for $550 a piece.
