Sujet: video problem pc

I used to work with a laptop but the videocard is not good enough.
Now I want to try mixing video with my pc.
It has a 6200 LE geforce card.
No hickups with loading while a video is playing, that's great BUT..............

When I play a video, the sound is good but the video doesn't play, it stands still.
Only when I put a song in the other player, then the video is playing.
Also played with the slider to put it to the right and left but no effect.
Strange that the video only starts playing when i load a video to the other deck.

Somebody an idea?

i would try vista if you're not running it already. i would bet money it'd fix your video freezing problems. just make sure your sound card and controller is supported if you need to upgrade.
 
Try lowering the color quality in the display properties to medium (16 Bit)

WHO IS HAHAVING A LAPTOP THAT CAN MIX VOB (100-300 MB) FILES ?

WHAT ARE THE SPECS OF THE LAPTOP AND THE NAME.

HOW DID YOU CONFIG VDJ?

I really want to know if there are people with laptops that can mix high quality videoclips without any problem.
