I do not want to use the automix feature during my main set, only early evening and for background music but instead of just doing radio type seques and fades it tried to beat mix my songs and so if I am playing say "fly" by sugar ray at 92 bpm and I want it to seque into Wham "Wake Me Up" at 164 bpm if speed "fly" up really rast and drops wham really slow to try to meet somewhere in the middle and it sound just god awful...............how do I turn off "Automix" and just get "autoplay"

In settings tab in Config:
auto pitch matching - disabled
auto cue - disabled
security - always
auto cross length - Fiddle with length to taste. I have mine set at 0.3 sec.
If you have an external mixer I have the internal Crossfader disabled as well.
Should do the trick

You can also try the different settings in the automix module of the playlist itself. You can find the info. on page 18 of the manual for further reference ;)

You have to have the crossfader enabled to auto mix, or maybe it does that automatically, when you activate automix.
