Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey guys. I posted a bit about this but got no reply. So I am using a cdj200, I have my cues set up in vdj and I have the time code cd configuration so that when i press cue on my cdj it will recognise the cue in vdj and cue from there.

I got this all set up by setting lead in time to 0 and pitch sesitivy to 400. I then choose in the options auto cue. Trouble is now I have all my cues. WhenI hit cue on my cdj its like the audio takes a jolt foward. Next time I press cue, instead of cueing from the vdj cue point, the cdj cues it from about quater of abeat of. This is getting reallt annoying. Has anybody else experienced this. Its not my cdj and I have everything set up correctly. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

BUMP ...Anybody?

one last bump! Cmon guys. Tis is a big issue. When Iset a cue in vdj dead on, when I try to cue it in time code cd it start a tiny bit after where I left the cue:(

auto cue works this way.

cue 1 = anywhere passed 1min in the timecode signal
cue 2 = anywhere passed 2min in the timecode signal
cue 3 = anywhere passed 3min in the timecode signal
cue 4 = anywhere passed 4min in the timecode signal
cue 5 = anywhere passed 5min in the timecode signal
cue 6 = anywhere passed 6min in the timecode signal

now this works great for a record since you can physically drop your needle anywhere you want but on CDJs you'd need to set multiple cues up for each min of play.

Best Regards

Thnka sfor the help but I can get autocue to work except when I have any cue, its like the time code reads the cue form like a tiny bit on from where it should making the the cue in accurate:(

Doesnt happen in djs decks

I remember Apopsis talking about having similar issues in the past so I did some digging for you.

Check this thread out and hopefully it will help you out more then I can.
MISSING THREAD!!!

Il try that out but I dont think it will help. Vdj does actually go to the first cue point but it plays like half a beat off the cue.

I have just decided that I will do all my cue points agin:( Might take a while but it will be worth it. I have to set the cues alittle bit before the actually beat for it to be correctly lines up on ciue in the cdj.

Anyways, I rarely mix using midi only any more so Im sure I'll be fine.

to be honnest Viper I personally use 2 TTs and a mixer along with a midi controller to hit my samples, loops, and whatever else I need. as far as CD decks I have yet to find one to suit my personal needs.
