Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Does anybody know how to switch of the "loading" sign, when loading a new video.
I'm using the new 5.04 version in theater,
When the slider is in the wrong position it gives me loading on the big screen.

For that you need a lot of ram.. how much you have?

And a good graphic card..- what you use?

And also, turn on hardware acceleration in VDJ video settings IF you have a good card, or turn OFF if you have a crap graphic card

how about be careful of where you have the video crossfader? same as you would be careful of where the audio crossfader is............

I've got 2 Gb of Ram and a 8600GT with 512Mb onboard. Should be enough I guess.
Hardware acceleration is on.
The files though are huge because they are uncompressed avi.

The information that a file is loading, is in my opninion not usefull.
I guess it could not be a big isue to delete that message from the core software...

Sure one must be carefull where the fader is, but in this special case (theaterplay with videointerviews) the mixing process is not continious, most of the time you are waiting until the next cue for the next video, so that fault is very easy to make when both decks are at standstil. (drag and drop next video)
With audio you don't have that problem, because VDJ doesn't give you the loading sign in that case...
