Sujet: crash codes on vista

Hey quick question, where would the crash code be located on vista? I know I seen it on one of these topic but cant find it.

My Documents/Virtual Dj you will find the crashguard file there:)
 
Ok well, there is not a crash log. I had an issue with 5REV5. I was video mixing and it just completely closed the program (in the club). It didnt freeze or anything like that. I was able to reopen VDJ and didnt have any issues mixing the rest of the night, I just didnt use video's for the rest of the night. Any ideas?
 
If you didnt see the recover message then I dont think it logs it as a crash (the one with the smiley face). If there is no crashguard report file then it wasnt reported as a crash.
 
any clues what might have caused this? Anyone else experience this before?
 
Can you tell us how it appeared? What was the last thing you did before the crash? Can you reproduce it?
 
I havent tried to reproduce it. I had cloned the deck and was going back and forth from deck to deck (on the midi fader) and it just closed. I have a gig tonight, we'll see if it happens again. I'll let you guys know for sure =)

With the crossfader of the DJ Console? Do you use my mapper?
 
i bought a virtual dj consol few month ago fo windows xp but now i ve a pc wista...do u know how i can use it
 
I've had this issue Djcel,

But mine want whilst mixing just music, no video. The music just cut off. Had to run on CD till I could restart. Do you think it could be a issue with the herc console and vdj 5, ( just a suggestion ). I don't use your mapper, do you think it will help.

I use the herc. I dont have your mapper installed. Actually I didnt know you had one. You think that can be the problem? I didnt end up using videos last night, the projector was out.
 
@daguirre10 I think we have a similar problem, mines with music yours with video.

If your go to the download pages and go down to the plugins page then to the external tools section, Djcel's herc console mapper is there. I'm going to download it and see if it makes a difference and stable things out.

Hey Jimmy,
were you able to reproduce the shut down? I havent messed with it. It only happened to me that one time.
 

No I can't mixed the 2 same tracks I was playing on Saturday night when it went, but last night at home but it was fine. I think it's just a ramdom thing. I've had 4 of these shut downs in 2 weeks, not good really.

I'm going to be trying Djcel mapper today, see if that helps and see if I can pin point the fault.
