Hi,
I just recently received my new Alienware laptop. It has Vista Home Premium on it. When I run Virtual DJ 5 r6 without the hercules controller plugged in, it works fine. However, when I plug in the controller it freezes and sometimes even freezes Vista itself.
I downloaded and installed the latest drivers for the Hercules. Also, I tried to uninstall VDJ from my computer and it says cannot find install.log file.
Any ideas on a solution? I also tried running it with and without my creative X-Fi sound blaster card plugged in.

welcome to the alienware team ;-). I have one as well and im so in love with it. mine came with vista as well, but i reinstalled it with XP and used the XP bios update. it was a real pain in the ass having to slipstream my own XP disk with the RAID controllers on it, but extremely worth it....
