the last time we had anything close to an earthquake around here was when a B-52 accidently dropped it's entire stick on the range during a live fire exercise - it was only supposed to drop 1 500lb bomb, not ALL of them at once. the USGS started calling up here asking about damage and any casualties.

I've never experienced an Earthquake.

Canada is located on something called Shield Rock. This is extremely old mountains that have been here basically since the beginnings of earth.

We rarely get anything like that. Would scare the hell out of me.
