I need to know if my sound card will allow me to moniter through headphones while still playing music over the speakers. Right now when I plug in headphones, the speakers shut off. Is this bad news? If not, what do I have to changeto make this happen? My computer has a NVIDIA 8500 card, and there are hook-ups on the back of the computer for 5.1 sound (1/8 in), and a 1/8 headphone jack in front. Can I do what I want, or do I need to someday get a external sound card? BTW, otherwise I like this program, and think I will buy it, so this is not for nothing.
