Sujet No ASIO Card In MAC??? Please Help

Ok...First here is my set up:
Mac OS X V. 10.5.2
Sound Card: M-Audio Fast Track USB
Total Control

1) If I Config the following I get no sound

Input: None
Output: Headphone
Sound Card: 4-out card
Driver: M-Audio
Channel: Master: right/Heaphone Left

2) If I Config the following: I get no sound on my heaphones...And if I do, my heaphone volume works as my master volume and needless to say my "master volume" also works accordingly.

Input: None
Output: Headphone
Sound Card: Mono Seperated
Driver: M-Audio
Channel: Master: right/Heaphone Left

I have a PC as well and I use the same set up w/o any problems...Though, my "conf" gives me a lot more options than my MAC....Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,

Hi there, for ur info mac did not use asio, it use core audio.

Have u create it as the aggregate devices? Are u using external mixer?

No, I am not using an external mixer...I am just using a Numark "Total Control" MIDi....What do you mean by creating an aggregate device??

Yes pls look at the link given by Dj Cyder. U need to create it in order to use ur soundcard.

Hey fellas, I'm plannin on buying u46mk2 for my mac. Just to clarify (because i'm still learning about mac) I have to do this for any soundcard that goes into mac right?

Yes, except some card such as the numark box n the herc mk2 etc.

Hey guys, I have a Numark Mixdeck and the MIDI controller in the middle will not work no matter what inputs/outputs I use. Any ideas?

Mac's don't use ASIO; that is a technology for Windows PC's.

Please start your own thread with specific details.
