I have VDJ 5 but want the facility to have a playlist running when i'm not at the deck. Can this be downloaded as an extra or is it only as part of another programme?

It is a capability of the Pro version. You have the DJC Edition that came with your RMX. The DJC Edition is a limited feature version.

Thats new? I have a Herc MK2 and it came with the Playlist automix function.... Used to use it a lot more than I do now.... I record mixes with Sound Forge while on my TCDs, cut, and clean up then have available for when I need a bathroom break or when the alcohol kicks in....

The RMX released with a DJC Edition based on the VirtualDJ Pro version 5.x engine. The feature set is different than the v3.4.1 that released with the MK2.
