Alrighty,
Im thinking about buying a mixer to go with virtual dj.
What is the best mixer to go for?

Any mixer will work with VirtaulDJ, but if you want to control VirtualDJ with it, you need to be looking at Midi type Mixers.

well it depends on how good you pc is if its fast and you want to scratch as well then go for a controller but if its a bit slow then go for an external mixer personally i perfer the external as all VDJ has to do is load and play songs everything else is done on the mixer so for my P4 laptop its faster, also it depends on what you want to do in the future if you want to go into timecoded vinyl or cd's then a mixer is the best bet as you can still use it without VDJ. and another facter is if your on a budget and dont want to buy another soundcard with phono ports then i recomend any of Numarks DMX mixers as they play the songs through USB i have a DM950 USB and its a good starter mixer but your tallents will soon get anoyed with its limitations! hope this helps ;)
