why is it that every time i load a song onto deck a or b the vdj screen freezes for a couple of seconds. any help please.
macbook pro 2.2 gig 2gigram osx 10.5.4. dedicated vdj 5.2 only partition on harddrive so no crap on the drive and never been on the net.
have tried all the performance settings makes no change. any help please

Change the default audio decoder to quicktime audio decoder for mp3 in the codec in the vdj setting:)

The Quicktime decoder is much faster BUT it does have one drawback, if you hit the "clone deck" keyboard shortcut before the song you're cloning is fully loaded you'll get some glitchy audio artifacts at the beginning of the track and I've found the cue point I have at the very beginning of the track gets put out of alignment.
