Sujet Will VDJ be available on all users?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I've just installed a version of VDJ-C which came bundled with a Hercules Controller. It is a limited version. I know the club owners are going to upgrade to the Pro version.

I was logged in as Administrator when I installed VDJ-C, and I notice that the software, or operation of, is ONLY available under Administrator. Is there a way to have VDJ operable under numerous users on this PC?

When I upgrade to the Pro version, will I be able to have VDJ available and operable under multiple users??

Thanks so much for any help,
Todd

Yes it can be made to happen with multiple users. It just takes some tweaking of a couple settings on each user account. But I must ask, if this is a machine dedicated for DJing what do you expect to accomplish by creating multiple user accounts ? My suggestion would be to have one account called DJs and install it on that account.

^I agree. Otherwise, it's liable to become confusing and difficult to manage.

Maybe he's trying to keep the system "locked down" i.e. disable removable storage so no one w/o some sort of tech knoledge can be able to copy music off the system, and/or still able to play music while he's not there.
