Sujet Ideal PC System for Virtual DJ

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I plan to build a PC just to play Virtual DJ 5.1. To get the best results without overspending what do I need ?
Vista or Windows XP Pro?, The fastest FSB mother board and memory? Perhaps a motherboard like the nForce 790-i Ultra? with DDR-3 1600 MHz? Which Processor will the software take advantage of like an Intel Core2 Quad processor, Q9450 or perhaps the Intel QX9650, or is this just waisting money? Is there a 64 bit version of Virtual DJ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, TNX Jerry

Opinions vary on the OS, but Vista appears to be harder to tweak for VDJ. Perhaps that is because it just hasn't been around as long and we're still learning. For video mixing, the best things to have are a fast processor, lots of RAM and a blazing fast video card with memory to spare. Folks seem to have better luck with ATI products than nVIDIA nowadays, but I think that it is generation-dependent. Adequate cooling is also a must. A quad core processor is likely overkill at this point. There is currently no 64 bit version of VDJ.

Happy building ;)
