Sujet What have you learned?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I own a Toshiba satelite , intel celeron CENTRINO (pretty old huh) vista 32 bit, 1gb ram. I spin on vdj 5.2 and of course the RMX console with tcv's. I went from bcd3000 (desktop running vista, since the bcd300 isnt compatible to certain dual core processors), mk2 to rmx now. and the one thing i've learned is that you should adjust you mixer's buffer size below your computer's memory capacity. not a big deal, of course you can fool around with it as long as u stay under.

What have you learned ?

Set your buffer size below your memory capacity? Thats crazy! Audio buffer sizes are very small and usually either measured in samples or ms. Lower buffer sizes require more powerful computers as they have to be able to fill the buffer more quickly because it won't last as long without input.
