Is there anyplace online, in store, etc. that one can download, buy, etc. royalty free and/or not royalty free video clips such as takes from movies, tv shows, cartoons, misc. stuff?
I know I can rent the movie or whatever and rip and edit, but don't want to do that. Yes, I'm lazy.
Not looking to steal, don't mind paying.

adultswim.com / .co.uk has clips of their cartoons online
youtube is good now they've upgraded the quality, you can get a browser plugin that lets you direct download the videos as MP4
doubt you'll find a legal commercial service selling short clips from popular movies/cartoons - the licensing would be a nightmare
note that rent->rip is technically illegal too ;)

Thanks for the note, I'll look into those sites.
I know rent/rip is illegal. I'm not really worried about taking a 5 second clip out of a film and using it, but I am willing to pay a (reasonable) fee for it. Hence this post.
