Sujet: Speed increasing loop

Ok guys heres the deal. If any of you have seen a pioneer efx-1000, it can do some really cool stuff. I have an idea for an effect, which would mimic the abilities of an efx-1000. Heres a short video clip of what I mean, just watch from about 1:20 to 2:00


What he does is he makes a loop, and then speeds it up, really fast, but not like an instant speed up, he 'cranks' it up, as you can see. So possibly have an effect that makes a loop for X amount of beats, then speeds it up to a peak in X amount of seconds. Make sense?

Do you mean the part he does in 1:27 - 1:33? That's the same as BeatGrid plugin in VDj:



No 'speeding up' involved here, just relooping parts with different lengths,
so I'm not sure if this is what you are asking for?
 
I see what part u think I'm talking about. I mean what he does at 1:30 exactly, where it speeds up very fast, (when he grabs the knob)
 
I see, they'd just have to add another paramameter to this BeatGrid plug-in which would
decrease the loop length even further.
 
Could someone do that?
