No soundcard, no life, wether its an upgrade to the djc mp3 or not.

Well I wouldn't run the RMX through some systems, I'd rather use a pro grade card.
The new control steel might be suitable as a second controller (one for audio, second for video for example) or as a cheap and viable back-up..

I might eventualy buy one for my timecode system, am still quite happy with the delta I have on it, so this would be perfect;^]

what is the defference, other than no sound card?
is it just the new effects knobs and the shift button for the proframable buttons?
will this be easily mappable, one thing i don't like about the RMX is the lack of effects, loop, and sample controls like the TC, but i don't like the TC build quality, so this would be awesome if i can get all the features i want.

I've noticed that it does not have RCA in's or outs so...
No hooking up T.T.'s or C.D. Players unless you have an external mixer which to me defeats the point.
I don't understand how this would be useful to a DJ like myself. It has no output so you can't hook it up to a soundsystem.
Or am I missing something here?
Why buy something like this if you still have to hook it up to an external soundcard and external mixer?
Just seems bulky to me and cumbersome to work with.
Looks nice though
