I am looking to make my remixes. ( no better term) but what i need to do is make a sample. and play the sample with a pause in it. lets say the sample is 'lets go' I want it to only play on the 8 count so it will be .... 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.let's go 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.let's go.
can that be done?

I think you would have to record the sample with the dead air between. I don't think vdj does it but if you included external software, there are programs out there that will play a sample with a "trigger". In your case you would trigger the sample at the correct time, but using vdj only record the sample leaving dead air at the the end so that it plays your sample, then dead air so that the sample starts again when you need it to.
