i bought this and installed the mk2 hercules drivers and djc virtual dj......................It did not work :(.........so im going to buy the RMX.........and i need to know if it will work with this laptop since it did not work with the mk2

There is no reason why not. MK2 and RMX should work ok, you had problems elsewhere, might be the driver.

if the mk2 doesnt work the rmx probably will not work either. mostly from what i have read, in many cases the mk2 synchs better with VDJ than the rmx. if you want to run video with VDJ i would determine shared vs. dedicated video ram, as i had a similar setup and the video licked balls without a dedicated video card. everything else looks good for audio. as djalf recs, check out the driver updates on all sides: soft/hardware.
