Sujet Your Hardware for VDJ?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Hey fellas,

I'd just like to know that sort of equipment people are using with their TimeCoded Vinyls. So name all ur specs/hardware and tell me what your flaws/hypes about your set up.

I'll start...

I'm running
P4 2.8 GIG with 512mb RAM
2 x SB Live 5.1

2 x 1200's MK2 with Ortofon Carts PRO S
Numark DXM 06 Mixer
Pioneer HDJ 1000 Headphones

I'm still waiting for the TCV's to come in stock so I can finally test this all out. One thing about the Numark Mixer is that deck faders are stiff so not as smooth for scratching....

I use Pioneer CD decks w/ timecode cd's

hopefully we will see you as a full registered users, as it seem you like the program :)
Please not that cracked versions have many bugs, and as a full users you will have all the support, free effect downloads, free upgrades and updates and more :)

Well yeah I'd like to try it out first... if it's worth buying then I'll fork out some more money on the program and probably the Maya soundcard.

Dj-In-Norway.......I am currently trying to decide between xp10s and some sort of active platter cd players so I was wondering how you like your setup? Where do you get time coded cd's and how do you like them? Have you used both the xp10s and the cd decks you currently have? Any advice about this? Thanks alot.

DJ in Norways pioneer cd decks are not active platters. they are actually more like the xp10 s with the touch sensitive dial

It seems that you should perhaps buy the software first. You want to invest lots of money in the hardware to get the most out of it, you'd be much better off with the full version than the cracked version you are currently using.
