CONNECTION

Operation

35 AC POWER
Connect the unit with an AC Outlet using the provided cable to this socket. Power on when all other connections are done
36 MASTER OUT 2
Alternative Un-balanced Master Output using RCA cables
37 MASTER OUT
Balanced Master Output using XLR cables to connect with your amplifier/amplified speakers
38 BOOTH OUT
Booth Output using 1/4" TRS cables to connect with your monitor speakers
39 USB A/B
Use any of the 2 available USB ports to connect the DJM-S7 to a computer. See further details at the Back-to-Back section
40 CH1/CH2 INPUTS
Use the LINE/CD RCA inputs to connect a CD or other Digital Media Player. The sources connected to these Inputs can be selected from the Left (for CH1)/Right (for CH2) Source Selector at the top panel
41 CDJ/CONTROLLER
Connect compatible multi players or controllers. Not recommended for storage devices connections. .If you turn input selector switches, devices are forcibly disconnected from any PC/Mac, so data on these devices may break.
42 MIC INPUT
Connect a Microphone using a XLR or 1/4" TRS cable
43 AUX INPUT
Connect any Digital Media source to this additional input. Signal from this Input will directly routed to the Master Output. The level of this audio signal is controlled from the AUX LEVEL knob at the front panel of the unit

CONTROL

Operation

44 MIC SECTION
Adjust the Level and the Tone of the Microphone Input (connection at the rear panel). Use the MIC On/Off switcher to turn the Microphone on/off. If the TALK OVER switcher is set to ON, the level of audio signal from the Master Output will be automatically reduced when Microphone is used
45 CROSSFADER ADJUST
Adjust the feeling of the Crossfader (how much strength is required to slide), its slope (blending curve) from Smooth to Cut/Scratch or reverse the blending behavior
46 BLUETOOTH

47 AUX LEVEL
Adjust the Level of the Auxiliary Input (input at the rear panel)
48 CH FADER
Adjust the slope (curve) of the Channel Faders.(from Smooth to Cut/Scratch) and reverse their fading behavior
49 HEADPHONES SOCKET
Connect your Headphones using a 1/8" or a 1/4" adapter. The level of this output is controlled from the top panel
