Sujet Problems with VDJ

I have been having intermittent problems with the software. A song would be playing and then all of a sudden stop. This has happened 3 out of my last 7-8 weddings. After I reboot the computer it seems to work ok except for the last job I had to reboot it several times and then it worked again. It would not fix it by closing out the program and then opening it back up. The computer had to be rebooted. A serious error warning came up each time. I do not remember what it said.

I am going to try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

If closing/re-opening the software doesn't fix your issues then it must be a computer/OS/Hardware malfunction. If it takes to reboot the entire PC to get back in business I would firstly suspect HEAT issues.
Afterwards I would suspect faulty communication with any external devices such as controllers and/or soundcards caused mostly by power surges.

Check these two things (laptop well ventilated and not overheating, no power surges) and let us know...

I do not think those are the issues. The laptop is well ventilated and I use a Furman power conditioner. I am using the 4MX Hercules controller.

Hmmm... Most of your freezes seem to be caused by your graphics display. Have you updated your graphics card drivers recently ? Are there any updates for them ?
