ok i can make my mac crash at will by streaming CU songs, trust me i dont want to stream them but on occasion they accidentally load up especially when not using mouse, and especially if the deck is empty.
is there a way to stop them from streaming in the settings? (force audio?) pretty much vdj8 is getting very solid except for this minor annoyance..

Easy. Load a CU song without downloading to cache first. I know i should always dl to cache first but on the macs touchpad can be tricky at times without a mouse. On vdj 7 i never had a crash if i streamed CU.

It is content unlimited audio, video, karaoke or netsearch?
Edit: I just tried all on a mac (with OS X 10.9) and they all work fine even when streaming, so there must be some other reason why it is crashing for you.
When it crashes, does virtualDJ automatically re-open, or do you see a crash report?

Reopens when it crashes. Sometimes i get a screen freeze. Cant do anything unless i do a hard reset. Aka hold power button.
