I wanted to find out when Midi Clock will be added back into VDJ 8, I am sure that I am not the only one waiting for this to be added back in... Not having this ability is the only thing that is keeping me from using this live, as I am not experiencing issues with the software or my controller. Now with that said I may not use all the functions or hardware everyone else uses, but I am not having any problems and would like to take it out for a spin live, but need the midi clock added back in so that I can have the software communicate with my other software I use. Please let me know when the ETA for Midi Clock will be added in.
Thank you
Thank you

nice find loco i bet that would work for most people
installed it and gave it a run on the master seems to work ok it didn't crash vdj8, granted i don't have any external midi devices to test it with at home maybe someone can try it out that does and see how it goes.

Hey WickedMix how did you install it so that it read the info from VDJ8?

Literally take
clocker.dll and put it into a folder, C:\Users\YourPCName\Documents\VirtualDJ\Plugins\SoundEffect\erm
refresh the list inside V8 and there you go. Turn the fx on
The problem is it doesn't read the info from V8, it's a manual set.

Yeah Groovin that's what I've used before and it's pretty good but if I remember right I had some kind of midi conflict when using it on my Mac.
Just wish they'd add it and do it right this time........ Hopefully the wait won't be that long. 👍

Yeah my thoughts exactly... I do not know why it just cannot be added back in... They have ever intent based on their past comments but I guess they are waiting to solve all the problems first which is pretty much holding those people with no issues hostage. I guess I will just have to use the audio analyzer that came with my other software until this is fixed, but I am not happy because it is just not the same, or continue using VDJ 7....
The lack of response on their part also does not say a lot either...

I just found this on the interwebs.
None other than Adion himself made a VST plugin that generates a MIDI clock from audio, back in 2007.
So it begs the question, why hasn't VDJ 8 got this built in?

Adion's effort doesn't work here (incompatible)

I really am curious what the big deal is about adding the midi clock to the software? Would adding it really bring this software to it's knees?
