im having this problem new laptop lenovo g505s with windows 8.1 correct details entered in broadcast set up try to connect Broadcast i get error server not found i have two other machines that work no with no problem help would be great i have heard that windows 8.1 is giving problems or will i have to open a port thanks

check firewall and server setting. Broadcasting to shoutcast has been fine for ages
no port opening required unless you are not connecting to a shoutcast or icecast
